Sarah Bresky is a multidisciplinary artist and future art educator from Exeter, Rhode Island and resides in Baltimore, Maryland. She is currently studying at Maryland Institute College of Art, projected to graduate with a BFA in Painting in May 2022 and an MAT in May 2023. She is also a recent recipient of the Reba Stewart Memorial Scholarship (2021) and has been a part of various group exhibitions at The Maryland Institute College of Art during the past year such as Combustion, Onward and Back In Action. Furthermore, her work has been featured throughout the years in her home state of Rhode Island as well as Baltimore and in digital shows.
She is currently creating a new body of work that synthesizes both the painting and fiber components of her practice to provide a physical representation of her experience with synesthesia and emphasize sensory overload. She is also currently student teaching at Colegate Elementary School in Baltimore.
